Dating back in 60’s when SATTAR SANITARY STORES was founded by Late Haji Abdul Sattar Khan as a conventional business house, the scenario was totally different as fierce competition literally drowned every organization those days. Young Rahim who just finished college has to shoulder part of the business & after his Father’s sudden demise, he took over the business completely.

Though soft by nature yet hard in determination, ABDUL RAHIM KHAN by then decided to shape up the company with a view to sell unique products to every innovative customers, where the mission started.

Now with four unique showrooms in the heart of the city in Chennai, he continues to reign the world of building materials with his simple look yet dedicated efforts.

Armed with 150 effective staff and workers, the organization emerged victorious throwing the competition to the roof and became monopoly in the arena of Ceramic Bathroom Products.

Currently Sattar group caters to the need of 500 elite customers like most of the leading Builders, Architects, sub dealer networks, retail consumers etc, every year and the business keeps increasing because of it’s elegant showrooms and spectacular display of products. People will literally fall in love at first sight when they enter the company's showrooms.

Sattar Group sells the products of various well known brands like Roca, Parryware in sanitaryware; Johnson, Somany, Asian, Nitco, Sonora, RAK in tiles, Jaquar, Metro-S in CP fittings; Nirali, Butterfly, in kitchen sinks etc, which adds feather to it's cap.

A Branch of Sattar Sanitary Stores was established in the year 1997. Located at Adyar previously known by the name standard sanitations is the first flagship store that caters to exclusively walk in customers. It is a pure retail outlet. It has an area of 2000 sq ft showroom space. It is exclusively a Parryware showroom being a branch of Sattar Group the business model allows its customers to enjoy benificial pricing it also has Jaquar fittings and multi brand tiles displayed in the showroom.

Southern Enterprises, yet another showroom of Sattar group  with 6500 sq ft area  has the wide range of Product display for the customers of  Kilpauk & Anna Nagar belt.  ‘No Artist is ever morbid, an Artist can express everything’ is what the customers feel when they enter every elegant showroom of Sattar group.

Mr Rahim Khan has a great vision to start some more  artistic showrooms in all parts of Chennai, to cater  the need of various segment of  people  from all walks of life.

As an entrepreneur Mr.Rahim Khan was able to manage the rough weather in business and surf the waves of success since he inherited the inspiring ideas from his father who taught him A-Z those days. Now the third generation has joined hand to run the organization much more efficiently in order to provide the best possible customer service and to implement new technologies as a support system, for office administration and further to ensure customer satisfaction, which is the most important need at this time As Oscar Wilde, the great writer who said ‘Morality in an Art consists the perfect use of an imperfect medium’, Mr. Rahim Khan was able to build his business dynasty in the field of Ceramic Bathroom products by applying this simple technique thereby making a business turnover of 650 millions in a year.
